When Hazel’s mom contacted us for her newborn session we were so excited to meet her! The name Hazel is simply adorable and we knew that a beautiful baby would be coming. We were simply not prepared for this little cherub’s face! Her sweet little face made all the ladies at Photography by Jodi Lynn melt.

We love working with expecting moms in our maternity sessions, and are so excited when they choose to come back for their newborn session! In fact, Photography by Jodi Lynn has a custom package for all the stages of your baby’s life! Our Bump to One Package features 2 full photography sessions as well as 3 indoor sessions. All of your images are included for Digital Download and we include a 20 page 8×8 custom album for you to customize your baby’s first album.

 

 

Personalized and Intimate Photography 

Jodi Lynn only books a limited number of newborn sessions each month. She wants to guarantee that you will get the most personalized and intimate session. We also understand that babies are unpredictable (isn’t that an understatement!). Whether your baby arrives early or late, contact us a few months before your due date and we will get your session scheduled!

Spring as Sweet as Tea 

Spring has definitely hit here in Arizona. With our early 80 degree weather and practically no winter (except for that weird day of random snow?!), Arizona is back to warming up again. This is such a great time though because let’s be real, that 80 degree sweet spot feels amazing! It’s when it starts to get above that 95 mark when we really start to dread the heat we know is coming. I know I personally dream of more pool days again. When it comes to family portraits, this is the literal perfect time to get the kids together and snap a family moment in time! 

 

 

Gorgeous Arizona Landscapes

Everyone is taking their activities to the outdoors right now and we are on the exact same wave. Spring family photos are some of our favorite types of portrait sessions! Pastels, florals, and fresh air. There are so many gorgeous views around Phoenix that we love to visit for Spring family photos. First, the Lost Dutchman State Park is an all-time favorite! Mornings here are filled with native plant blooms, birds, little animal friends, and gorgeous geologic structures like the Superstition Mountains. We love this location because not only are there perfect backdrops but there is so much to learn and interact with! There is never a dull moment at Lost Dutchman State Park! After your session, take the family to Goldfield Ghost Town for lunch! 

 

 

Fun and Exciting Arizona Family Portraits 

Right next to the botanical gardens is another favorite location, Papago Park. Papago Park is home to hole in the rock as well as various bodies of water and perfect desert mountain landscape backdrops. A short climb up to hole in the rock will reveal a great view of Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe! Similarly, this awesome family’s session was in North Scottsdale, up in the beautiful boulders. Jodi Lynn has been photographing this glowing mama since before she was even pregnant with her littles! She loves that she has gotten to see them grow and work with this family for so long now. That is what this business is all about, getting to know these sweet families and watch their tribe grow.

Finally, spring leads to summer and where do many Arizonans flee too but to the beaches of California? We are so excited to announce that we will be offering for the FIRST TIME EVER – summer beach photoshoot sessions in San Diego, California on June 4th-7th! Want to catch your family in the ocean? Summer is officially here! It is time for swimsuits, sun, popsicles and fireworks. America’s Birthday is here and we are excited to celebrate. This season always makes us picture retro swimsuits and classic cars. Maybe it is the fond memories of watching The Sandlot as a kid, but summer reminds us of all things vintage and pinups!

Coming in for a Pin Up session with Photography by Jodi Lynn is a great way to mix up your photos. This theme is great for all aspects of your life. Jodi Lynn was featured on a variety of wedding websites for her Bonnie and Clyde engagement shoot. You could dress up your minis and do a cute “Mama and Me” pin up session. One aspect that makes pin up photography so much fun is the ability to incorporate different props and vintage styles! Pin Up Photography is a specialized area that we do not offer regularly, so be sure to book yours while the weather is hot! 

At Photography by Jodi Lynn, we are very passionate about what we do! From newborn to engagements we go above and beyond in each session. Engagement sessions are some of the most exciting sessions for us because we are able to tell your love story! During wedding planning, it gets hectic, so taking a step back from all of the exciting but overwhelming planning gives you and your soon-to-be husband a chance to have some time to relax and love each other a little more!
