While we are just at the beginning of our outdoor season (we photography indoor family portraits during the warmer months), we wanted to share this sweet family session at a local Gilbert Christmas Tree nursery.

When it came to this year’s holiday photos, Jodi Lynn knew she wanted to do something extra fun and seasonal for her family. So, she decided on a Christmas Tree Lot photo session! And after weeks of waiting for tree lots to pop up around the Valley she found the perfect nursery for this photo shoot, Whitfill Nursery in Gilbert. With the addition of vintage Chevy truck, we were able to create the perfect holiday backdrop for her family’s portrait session! We are so happy with how these family photos turned out and hope to use this amazing location again before the holiday season is over.

We love using big baskets and fluffy throw blankets to create a cozy and safe photo shoot environment for your newborn. When Traci and Jodi Lynn are doing a newborn session in our indoor Tempe studio, a million things are going through their heads to ensure your baby’s safety. They make sure to check everything, from how the baby’s head is positioned, how their feet/hands are positioned so that there is optimum blood flow through their limbs, and the temperature of our studio (are they too hot or cold)? As mothers themselves they are also able to add extra insight to your newborn portrait session.
