This beautiful family created a memorable day for themselves through a colorful, personal stylized photoshoot in this fun and colorful location and so can you!

THE DAYS OF MATCHY-MATCHY OUTFITS ARE OVER! HOW TO COLOR CO-ORDINATE TO CREATE A FLOWING PICTURE

Once upon a time it was common practice to tote the kids out in the exact same outfit for a family shoot, but here at Photography by Jodi Lynn, we find that donning clothes in the same color family, or complimenting opposites is the best way to go. This family played with light bright colors like blue and white complimented by a fall-friendly crimson and sweet pink. There are so many different options and combinations when choosing clothes for your session.

What better way to capture your family’s close bond than going to the farm! This beautiful family of three had such an amazing time out on this East Valley farm location. The bonds that are captured throughout this session melted our hearts, between watching the farm animals and swinging with mom, we are in love with this lifestyle family session. With a lush grassy lawn, our Gilbert farm location allowed this family’s sweet baby girl to explore and let her fun, little personality shine. A rustic tree swing and darling farm animals complete this peaceful location and sure to be one your favorites for years to come.

In this session we had the pleasure of capturing a video of the time we spent with the H family. This video truly shows the special bond between this family of three.

Creating lasting memories through styled family photo shoots: Why outfits are important for the look of your session

Styling your photography session is so important, from the long flowy dress from ShowPo, to baby’s romper from Zara and little poppy co. bow and Dad’s casual but more neutral outfit. All of these elements make the photos really stand out in the natural elements of the farm location. When thinking about your outfits, we like to have them compliment each other but they don’t need to be matchy-matchy. A nice pop of color, alongside a floral print always makes for a cohesive look. We also highly recommend getting hair and makeup done, for the look at this session mom opted for a whimsical braid paired with a natural look on her makeup by Seventh Ave Beauty. We can add-on hair and makeup to your session.
