Welcome to Le Boudoir Studio’s blog! We are excited to announce that Jodi Lynn is expecting her baby soon — March 8th, to be exact! She and her husband are busy getting ready to welcome their baby girl, and their daughter is bouncing with excitement to have a little sister.

During the last several months, Jodi Lynn has been busy with all the preparations that must be done along the way when you’re expecting. She has been reacquainted with all of the world-changing effects of bringing a new life into the world. From preparing the baby room to satisfying her cravings — apple fritters and anything pickled — there is a lot to take in and do before she and her family get to meet their little one.

Additionally, she and her husband have decided to use the expertise of a midwife for a VBAC delivery — vaginal birth after cesarean. Jodi Lynn is excited to experience giving birth to her daughter naturally, and to have the expertise of a midwife by her side during the birthing process: a midwife’s professional expertise can be a true asset before, during, and after the birth.

With a March 8th due date quickly approaching, the energy around our Scottsdale studio is one full of excitement and support for Jodi Lynn and her family in welcoming the newest member to their family. With this in mind, there is some business around the studio to be aware of:

With the arrival of Jodi Lynn’s baby girl, there are some things you should know about business around our photography and boudoir studio in Scottsdale.

No bookings will be available till late April 2019

We understand this is an inconvenience and that a lot sessions have had to be canceled as a result — we apologize for that and hate that we can’t provide you the unique photography experience of our Le Boudoir Studio.

However, we do want to offer you options to get beautiful photography while Jodi Lynn is away having her baby.

Pregnancy is a beautiful thing. Every moment, movement and memory is a brand new, exciting adventure. It goes so fast and as time goes on, our memories become a little fuzzy around the edges. What better way to remember the excitement of and mystery of a new baby than to capture it in a photograph. Will it be a girl? Will it be a boy? Many families are moving into the trend of gender reveal photoshoots to forever capture that moment of surprise! As many of you may know, our very own Jodi Lynn is working hard carrying and growing a beautiful new life! She has been diligently recording every wonderful milestone of her second pregnancy and of course she had to go a gender reveal and you can too!

PHOENIX FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER CAPTURES GENDER REVEAL

Just as every baby is different, the same holds true for baby gender reveal photo sessions as well. A growing trend among Instagram and Facebook is using a large black balloon containing colored confetti or glitter to reveal the gender of your newest family member. We love being a part of these very special shoots and are very careful to never reveal the secret! We even transported the balloons in a different car than Jodi just to make sure she wouldn’t find out until it was time. We took some sweet family shots and a few showcasing “the bump” before we helped to capture the exact moment when Jodi and her family found out the gender of their patiently awaited baby

Milk bath sessions are so dreamy and have so much room for personalization! From the milky transparency in the tub, flowers, and outfits, these sessions are simply breathtaking. This gorgeous mama-to-be wanted to document her pregnancy in a more unique way and stumbled across milk-bath sessions and so we will now be offering our milk bath sessions in Gilbert, Arizona instead of at our studio in Scottsdale!  

This dreamy session has now been added to our list of favorite ways to capture pregnancy! After filling the tub with 2 gallons of whole milk, and some of the most beautiful flowers from Trader Joes we were filled with so much joy. Photography is such an art and being able to work with amazing women to create portraits that are unlike others, makes our hearts explode! Just look at this momma!
